There are silly things like when the sea is choppy, you can't use the the crafting menu because it keeps disappearing as the boat goes up and down, almost as if you have just walked away from the menu thus it despawns, and so you have to wait quite some time until the sea calms down. Fuel cans for the boat only add 10 and therefore do not last long at all, buying more fuel cost a fortune, 65 waal for 5-10 secs of fuel. As I said above, great potential but really just not there yet.. These guys work hard and have proved a lot of people wrong, including myself.Edit: Seriously? mostly negative for a game thats updated to this extent? i bet you lot are the kind to take a free key to rate up asset flip games? point is the people down voting this game are either children or morons. developer has clearly worked and still is working hard on a game he prob hasn't made any money from.. Meh not the greatest game but it is fun.. Glad I got a refund. The game is barely worth 5 USD at the most. Difficult to use GUI, barren menus, and a rather lacking tutorial for crafting. The game just seems lacking in some ways.. I recommend this game, but at its current state I can't say I love it. The changes I've seen have been pretty cool and I hope it follows the same direction as rust in a lot of ways. I expect this to be a great game after the devs put in the hard work a game like this takes.. ATM this game is really buggy i tried to enjoy it but after crashing 4 times due to jumping in and out of the water at the first town(no i wasnt doing i ton purpose) it started to freeze when i got in the water and eventually the game would just stop responding and secondly i reallllllly dislike the crafting system they realllllly need to simplify it its soooo hard to craft anything i literally had to look up what i needed and pick up only metal and electronics too actually be able to build something or just not have enough space in my inventory to build all the materials needed for anything(like a battery which is also a crafting material needed for anything useful) and honestly idk if u could even build the basic stuff without selling or using all of ur metal or electronics(if i could ever get that far without crashing and having to restart). I'm gonna wait to refund it as they do patch it frequently but right now its more frustrating then fun.. As the game is still in it's alpha phase, there is a lot to be forgiven. For example, if you pressed to Interact with a crate twice instead of just once, there would be a box saying to Take Out popping out whenever you press Interact with other objects even after the crate has disappeared. Also, when putting the input of numbers at shops or crafting, the keys also activate the inventory slots and items would be equipped. In terms of the literal "landless" gameplay, the open world is considered small and I hope there is a radar on the top right to have a compass to tell the direction besides relying on the sun. Or perhaps having the stars as a guide of direction would make the game more interesting. It would be great to have a speed /acceleration meter on the boat as well so that we can upgrade the boats to move at a higher speed as we craft more items for the upgrades. With a lack of tutorials, and description of items, it was kind of challenging to know what items do and what effects it brings such as the hydro turret and interception tower. Also, hacking for blueprints become confusing as it was not introduced at the start of the game if there is a certain correct answer to using the different servers.Improvements still needs to be done to the UI layers but it's forgiven as the game is still in its alpha phase. Perhaps it would be better to have much more features/improvements added in for the next upgrade. I keep finding it difficult to get around places such as getting off the boat by the ladder and having to jump off instead. Also, I thought we could move the floating platforms around as we travel but no, it was just there. The doors still have an UI box there which I think you guys placed it there to put the scripts for opening the door. Overall, the game still needs improvement and it would be more fun if it's multiplayer with a bigger town on the sea. The map also seems limited in terms of what other places there are to explore and the main storyline wasn't really clear. It would be great if Professor Goodwell pops out more often to give some tips or reminders on what to do. I can't recommend this game enough. YES, it is EA. Take your mind off of all the negatives you've heard or experienced about EA for one moment.Without exaggerating, this is by far the best dev team I have had the pleasure of interacting with. I say that because Codebullet (dev) listens and responds to everything the community has to say. On top of that, they don't just make empty promises. They pump out updates for new content and fixes for old and new content extremely regularly. I'm continually blown away by not only the sheer amount of updates but also the amount of content as well as its quality.You've heard it said "Quality over quantity" but with this game (and it's devs) you get the best of both.. As a YT'er I love this game, 39+hrs in and still having fun. it's mix of Rust and 7days2die but on water. Keeping in mind it's a work in progress I would totally rec. this game to play!
