In the light of events of steam summer 2017 sales. I decided to buy this game since is cheap, costing 50 cents. and my first impressions of the trailer was good, seems fun. Then what I found of this game good, is being simple and good game mechanics. but the bads overtake the goods and makes this game not recommendable.The first thing I like to adress is the fact that the game don't save the progress. there's no "Continue" button on menu, just select any of the 3 maps and that's it.This makes the game bad because, I would like to continue when I got that expensive item. or I killed that kind of monster. Or worst case for some reason you obtain that item you always wanted and then the game close, crash or you computer shutdown. AND GUESS WHAT? YOU NEED TO START ALL OVER AGAIN.That's why is bad. the fun part that the trailer promise to you is over 2 hours of grinding the game and I dont have time to wait that. so Steam refunds to the rescue.OVERALL. Not recommended 4\/10. too much grinding and starting from the beginning with no possible replability of the game. Dont but this game if more than 1$.. Started up the game and the screen was 90% obscured by unexplained explosions and light effects (the only area that wasn't was a small square in the bottom left corner). Checked settings menu, no option to change anything important. Restarted game, tried again, same problem. Fiddled with resolution and tried fullscreen mode to see if that made a difference. Nope.Game looks interesting enough, but doesn't look appealing enough for me to risk getting stuck with an unplayable game if Steam refuses to refund me.[Edit:]I can't rate the game on its gameplay as I didn't get a chance to play it - the not recommending comes from the lack of obvious options for fixing the problem I experienced.*. You feel bad that you only are giving a development team a buck on a game when so many others out there do asset-flip half\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665high price unfinished early access crapola. Now, the grind can be repetitive and you can snowball the tactics for the first 12 levels by corner hugging but the game really comes into its own around wave 13. If you are into pixelated platform style shooters(this one with a wave mechanic) then for under a dollar this is a no-brainer. The only drawbacks I found from this was sound FX being a little over the top for some of the weapon mechanics and the soundtrack itself adding a little to the "repetitive" nature of the gameplay. Otherwise, the variety of sprites that will steadily evolve and come at you keeps it interesting enough as you progress through. Anyways, for a indie game title I give it a thumbs up middle of the road rating. For the price point that swings it even higher. I rarely have time to commit an hour for a game like this. And so far I've only played on the easiest map.
